Kirstin was wonderful, better than I had hoped for. I expected a competent driver, and someone who knows the area; which I got. What I didn’t expect was that this lady is a whisky expert who was able to carry on the nerdiest whisky discussion with our whisky aficionado. She also asked if she could bring her dog Roy along, as we are dog lovers that was a nice treat. We spent 2 days with Kirstin touring the island of Arran. Its very neat as it has both highlands and lowlands on this fairly small island. Kirstin booked the distillery tours and hotel and ferries, all went smooth.
If we ever go to Scotland again I would not hesitate to use Starfish again.

Bis auf die Transfers zu den Golfplätzen hat die Eigentümerin des „Starfish Travel Services“ , Frau Kirstin Uhlenbrock, die Abholung vom Flughafen, Den Tagesausflug am Tag 2 und die Rückfahrt nach Edinburgh und Stadtbesichtigung übernommen. Frau Uhlenbruck stammt aus Hamburg und lebt schon sehr lange in Schottland. Da Sie deutsch spricht und das Land sehr gut kennt, war dies ein Optimum an Service und Information. Das trifft vor allem für Leute zu die keine oder wenig Engl. Kenntnisse haben. Frau Uhlenbrook u Ihre Fa. ist sehr zu empfehlen.

We’re back to our daily lives, but as you said, you can leave Scotland with your feet, but not your heart. Scotland has truly captured ours!

We can’t say enough positive thoughts about our day trip with Kirstin! It was such a lovely day from beginning to end. Our day was packed full of adventures,
visiting the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, and we even managed to visit 5 castles, and the Wallace Monument. Kirstin put together an incredible itinerary based on our interests, and some of her suggestions based on her vast knowledge and experience. Her knowledge of the area meant that the day was planned very smoothly. She was excellent with our children, and she even packed an incredible basket full of local fruits and snacks. We wish we could have another trip with her tomorrow. Until next time, thanks for everything, Kirstin.

Our trip in Scotland with you was realy amazing , everybody keep a very good souvenir and many beautiful pictures in our mind .

We booked a day in Edinburgh with Starfish Travel and the experience was phenomenal. Kirstin was great to work with – professional, prompt and accommodating. She had the best suggestions, information on the attractions and even provided a few extra surprises (you’ll have to book with Starfish to find out).
